An opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Sales Co-ordinator to join their team. For this role our client is looking to recruit a technically competent, highly efficient administrator with, at a minimum, an HND (or equivalent) in electrical engineering or electronics. As a Technical Sales Co-ordinator you'll be responsible for dealing with overseas customers and exporting technical products from UK manufacturers such as fire alarm panels, emergency lighting, security and burglar alarms and access control systems. Your role will involve talking to overseas customers who are looking for particular products, advising them on what system will best suit their needs, and recommending a product, which our client will then export. Specifically, your duties will include: - replying to sales enquiries and preparing sales quotations - answering sales calls from overseas customers in order to identify their requirements - advising customers on product features, benefits, usage and applications - resolving after-sales problems of overseas customers - following up quotes, sales leads and negotiating with customers When required, as a Technical Sales Co-ordinator you will also receive, check and enter orders onto the system, and assist the Shipping Supervisor to arrange the collection and shipment of goods. To be considered for this position you must have: - at a minimum, an HND, degree or equivalent in an electronics or electrical discipline - experience in an office administration or sales support role - Good multitasking and PC skills, such as Word and Excel As a Technical Sales Co-ordinator you must have a customer-focused approach to your work in addition to excellent initiative, good communication skills.
