The role is varied and will include:- Day to Day team management and co-ordination, including training, appraisals and disciplinary issues. Manage 3rd party suppliers, ensuring all SLA's are adhered to Project manage the implementation of new systems or new versions of software as required. Agree timescales and resources required for particular stages of development, implementation, support and co-ordination of project plans. Work closely with both users of the system and the suppliers, providing full specifications of requirements to obtain quotations and negotiate on price. Ensure all newly implemented systems/modules are handed over with required training to the appropriate teams where applicable. Lead, manage and action the resolution of incidents, problems and requests in own area in an efficient and professional manner, whilst conforming to Trust and departmental standards, service agreements, polices, procedures and working practices, seeking further advice and information within Informatics, when necessary. Liaise closely with Users to manage incidents, problems and service requests in own area to a satisfactory conclusion, providing full information and advice and investigating complaints in line with departmental policy.
