Providing the business with the best estimates of both volume and financial delivery by customer / customer group. Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and to communicate effectively across organisational functions. Analysis of retailer data is essential to support optimisation of extended supply chain performance. To improve forecast accuracy and to prepare and propose promotional options & recommendations for review with Customer Supply Manager and account strategy. Building new relationships with the customers' logistics teams and enhancing existing relationships to ensure that agreed SLA are continuously improved. Work with suppliers to plan in terms of volume and phasing with a view to develop and agree a collaborative demand plan. Gathering (KPIs) to track and understand trends and to identify and address opportunities for improvement with their customer. interfacing with the order fulfilment process to ensure the delivery of superior customer service to retail accounts. To develop professional contacts at multiple levels within the assigned customers' supply chain community, in order to build their respect and confidence in our expertise as truly collaborative supply chain partners. Regular travel is required to visit and build relationships with the respective retail customers. Participate in the development of the customer strategic plan and will propose enhancements to the supply chain process in order to meet strategic customer goals. Successful candidates will ideally have exposure in a supply and demand planning role within FMCG environment. They will possess outstanding team-working ability and excellent analytical skills with the ability to assimilate large amounts of data. They will be able to articulate results and ideas in a concise manner to both internal colleagues and external clients. Working experience using systems (Manugistics, SAP reporting/Planning programmes) would be an advantage. £30k - £35k per annum
