Job SpecificationThe roles will involve writing windows based applications for controlling external equipment, and providing sources ofdata for other applications to work with. The candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent C++ skills gained throughdeveloping windows based applications using either Visual Studio or Borland Builder including experience in developingGUI's.The successful candidates will have a good appreciation of good software engineering practices. They should be able todesign solutions and demonstrably write C++ to a standard that enables efficient maintenance and extension by themselvesand others. Also essential is experience of the requirements needed to successfully bring products to the market-placeincluding an understanding of the importance of reliability, testing, production and support.Experience of development of cross platform applications using tools such as Qt, Java and using a PC to control otherequipment would all be beneficial.Candidate ProfilesThe successful candidates will have between 1 and 3 years professional software experience and be required to work onthe development and support of the range of company broadcast products.He or she must also be: Enthusiastic Personable Self Motivated Thorough
