Our client are seeking a skilled software engineer to join their Core Technology Group. Above all else, they are seeking an engineer capable of developing software of the reliability and performance demanded by the industry. You will offer:A good BSc. degree in computer science, or equivalent training. Minimum 2 years C/C++ development on one of Windows NT, Macintosh, UNIX/Linux platforms.Knowledge and experience of modern software development processes and practices. A good team player with strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Desirable skills:Knowledge of Pre-press or Electronic publishing systems. Knowledge and experience of page description languages, such as the PostScript language and PDF. Knowledge and/or experience of computer graphics or image processing. Knowledge and/or experience of colour management. Knowledge and/or experience of screening.
