BROADCAST ACCOUNT MANAGER - SOUTH EASTSalary: 35k to 40k basic + OTE + benefitsOur client design and manufacture complex solutions to customers throughout the world in broadcast television programproduction and post production, archiving, asset management, VOD, DVD authoring, digital intermediate processing (movies,episodics, TV commercials), large screen displays, rental and staging.Main Duties & Responsibilities:The Broadcast Account Manager is responsible for developing direct business and influence with a defined set of UK basedkey accounts. The Broadcast Account Manager will define and implement account plans and strategies to achieve salestargets and further develop profitable business in line with the Company's overall objectives.Responsibilities include:- Generate new sales opportunities, through developing profitable repeat business and winning market share in the definedkey accounts.- Identify and lead "dotted-line" Company accounts teams to win business and provide superior levels of service andsupport to the key accounts.- Develop effective "key account sales plans" and strategies to grow revenue from the defined accounts.- Pro-actively identify, plan, support and attend roadshows, seminars and industry events to develop awareness of theCompany.- Manage terms of business with the key accounts in line with the Company's commercial terms.- Monitor and provide management feedback on key accounts and general market activity.- Identify international cross-border sales opportunities.- Qualify and manage enquiries received at the Company from key accounts- Identify and monitor tenders that require investment in the Company's products.- Report sales and market activity on a regular basis to the Business Development team.- Feedback as appropriate to departments on market intelligence.Essential Skills & Experience- Degree education.- Must have previous experience of selling into B2B technology markets relating to broadcast/post production, media andtelecomms.- Must have existing contacts and relationships in the broadcast, post production and telecomms markets.- Track record of selling advanced technology products and solutions into major accounts, dealing with complex salesscenarios.- IT literate and ideally with knowledge of how media and content are handled in the IT or telco environments.- Had exposure to international business.- Ability to work at all seniority levels from board level to technology, IT, commercial and operations departments.- Ability to manage long term, complex sales cycles.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Needs to demonstrate enthusiasm and a team based approach towards all tasks.- Ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines- Initiative and self motivationDesirable Skills and Experience- Understanding of video, film, print or image processing technology.
